About

I was named after an Elvis Costello song. I smoke too much and I'm a caffeine junkie. I'm an art student and I work at a digital library. My interests are polar opposites; I love action and romantic comedies, indie rock and boy bands, video games and camping. I'm a student and I work at a digital library. Oh, and I'm a quarter Japanese.

Turn ons

Cemeteries, art supplies, large noses, double murder/suicides, foreign accents, libraries.

Turn offs

Poor grammar, ignorance, not being true to thine self, people who don't read, and when people use words they cannot define.

text vs. romance

"I'm so amazingly cool you could keep a side of meat inside me for a month. I am so hip I have difficulty seeing over my pelvis".
- Zaphod Beeblebrox

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve".
- Bilbo Baggins

"And I say there's trouble when everything is fine. The need to destroy things creeps up on me every time".
-Absence of God by Rilo Kiley

"No I’m not a lesbian. I just don’t feel comfortable being anyone’s girlfriend. I don’t actually feel comfortable being anyone’s anything."
- Summer Finn

"It’s not about music. It’s about what you look like."

Revolutionary Road

I just watched this with my Grandma. Watching sex scenes with your Grandma? Not so awesome. She didn’t like it at all (except the song The Gypsy by The Ink Spots at the beginning, she loves that song), and I liked it more than I thought I was going to. Kate Winslet’s character reminded me a lot of my Mother, and at times of myself (the car sex scene especially). Except that my Mom loved my brother and I, we were the only things that kept her going when she was depressed. And my Dad can be a real asshole sometimes and drive you past the edge of sanity. This also just reiterated my truth that men are big babies.
