About

I was named after an Elvis Costello song. I smoke too much and I'm a caffeine junkie. I'm an art student and I work at a digital library. My interests are polar opposites; I love action and romantic comedies, indie rock and boy bands, video games and camping. I'm a student and I work at a digital library. Oh, and I'm a quarter Japanese.

Turn ons

Cemeteries, art supplies, large noses, double murder/suicides, foreign accents, libraries.

Turn offs

Poor grammar, ignorance, not being true to thine self, people who don't read, and when people use words they cannot define.

text vs. romance

"I'm so amazingly cool you could keep a side of meat inside me for a month. I am so hip I have difficulty seeing over my pelvis".
- Zaphod Beeblebrox

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve".
- Bilbo Baggins

"And I say there's trouble when everything is fine. The need to destroy things creeps up on me every time".
-Absence of God by Rilo Kiley

"No I’m not a lesbian. I just don’t feel comfortable being anyone’s girlfriend. I don’t actually feel comfortable being anyone’s anything."
- Summer Finn

"It’s not about music. It’s about what you look like."

Math Class Crush

He walked in, and I had to catch my breath. He has tattoo’s, a gorgeous, colorful half sleeve on his left arm, and some Old English lettering on the inside of his right, partially hidden under his t-shirt sleeve. He’s just the right body type, tall (not too tall, maybe 5’10”) light brown hair, average bordering on muscular (my favorite), and glasses. Black frames. Of course I’m crushing on him. He’s from New York, and lived in Germany for five years. He’s an economics major (money is and will always be sexy). We had to introduce one another in class, but I was so smitten I forgot his name. He probably has a girlfriend (because, really, I have horrible luck) and he’s going to FSU soon. But I don’t care. I get to stare at him for three hours two nights a week. Hopefully my math grades don’t suffer. We have to ask for like, five people’s numbers to study with, so I’m going to ask him. Plus, I was in Germany recently, albeit just the Frankfort and Munich airports, but still, conversation starter!
